We had SOOOO much fun this Easter. It was loads better than last years. ;) We had the opportunity to head down to San Diego and spend time with Family. The drive down seemed like it took FOREVER. We caravan'd with Dad, Michelle, Casey, Myranda and Luke. Potty breaks for 7 adults and 1 baby really add up, so we didn't end up getting to San Diego until around 2am. Needless to say, the next day we all needed a little pick me up since it was scheduled out from start to finish with activities (actually the whole weekend was pretty much like that.) Marc and I both had work stuff scheduled first thing Friday morning, so we didn't end up heading to the Zoo until about 1 (of course we hit up the Taco Shop on the way. A favorite among the group) The Zoo was a blast. A lot of the Animals were hiding and it was pretty crowded, but I am really glad we went. It was a beautiful day and there is nothing better then being out with Family. (Note: if you ever go to the SD Zoo a churro is a must. They were SOOOOOO good. Thanks again Emma) Friday night we ended up staying in for pizza and games. It was a great day. Saturday was prep day for Easter. Dying Easter eggs, buying Easter basket goodies for the Savage, hanging out with Family. We also got to go up and see Ryan & Christine's new house in Temecula Saturday night and I was lovin' on it!. They really did a great job picking it out and decorating it. I just love those two, I am so glad Marc was friends with them. They are so much fun. I'm excited that we will (most likely) be living in Temecula near them. It's guaranteed fun times ahead. Anyways.... On to Easter!
Easter was a blast!! We woke up and started the day off right by heading to church. After church, Marc and I met up with Pam and Jim Aziz to pickup the BEAUTIFUL and I mean BEAUTIFUL DVD case Chris built for us. He is just such a sweetheart for doing that and we are so lucky to have him as a close friend and and adopted Uncle to Sadie. When we got back home Emma and Bob had planned out an Easter egg hunt for the older kids. It was AWESOME!!!. She is sooooooo good at hiding eggs and it made me feel like a little kid again out there searching high and low for them. After Sadie woke up we had a little hunt for her as well. She did SO well. She ran over to the eggs, picked it up and dropped them in the basket. I couldn't believe it!! She did that a few times before giving up and just grabbing eggs and keeping them in her hands. When she found the yogurt bites inside it was all over. She just sat there eating them until we brought her inside. She also broke through her 2nd tooth. The bottom left. Such a trooper. We had a yummy dinner followed by a yummy dessert and fun games!.
So that pretty much sums up our Easter weekend. If it wasn't obvious, we had a blast. I am so glad we went down. Here are a few photo's.... (the zoo ones were taken with my phone, so sorry for the low quality) Enjoy!!

She finally found the num num yogurt bites inside!. :)
