We're Expecting!.

You see, when two people love each other VERY much.... HAHA! Joke, yes... It's true! We are expecting our first beautiful baby!.

We went to the doctor yesterday and it was AmAzInG!. (Side note: Our doctor is perfect!.) She ran some tests and talked to us about all sorts of different stuff. Then she talked to Marc in Medical lingo about a bunch of stuff that went right over my head, but he was loving it. Then the best part, the Ultrasound. This might sound crazy, but I am IN LOVE with that little flicker on the screen and the sound **woosh woosh, woosh woosh** I was so scared I wasn't going to be able to see the baby, but it was so easy!. Our doctor zoomed right in and it was incredible. Her printer was broken so she promised us an even better picture next visit, but it didn't even matter. I will remember that screen and what it looked like forever! So our due date is in April and we could not be more happy and excited to be entering this new stage of life.

Morning sickness is kicking my butt. I am not exactly sure why they call it "morning sickness" because it is more of an all day sickness, at least for me. Becides feeling nacious all the time and never wanting to eat because food sounds nast and makes me gag just from the thought of it, I have been in a constant state of hibernation. I work, sleep and repeat. I am so lucky to have Marc. He is always looking out for me trying to help when he can. I haven't done one load of dishes since my morning sickness kicked in because he always beats me to the punch. He is such a good man and husband.

CHICAGO!!.

This trip to Chicago was fun and very entertaining. It started off by having our planes delayed 1-2 hours, so we ended up having to take a bus to the red line and almost got mugged in the Subway Station at 3am. A guy got on and was asking for food/money. I had an apple juice so I told him that was all the food I had with me and he started calling me a "lying b**ch" and telling me to "give him my effin money" He said A LOT more, but that is the clean nice version of it. VERY SCARY!!!! I had my mace in a death grip, luckily we got off the next stop!
Then we got to our hotel in which they had given away our 2-bed bedroom and so they ended up having to put us in a parlor with 4 roll-a-ways, then switched us the next morning.
From then on we had a pretty great trip. We went to the convention (lots of GREAT freebies), Lots of great restaurants and of course hit up all of Chicago's major tourist spots!.
We went to Navy Pier, White Sox Game, Chicago Archatecture Tour Boat, Pizza Tour, Sears Tower, McCormicks & Schmits, Chicago Chophouse, Gibsons, Harpo Studios and much much more.

Some cool things that were going on in Chicago while we were there.... They were filming Transformers 3 just down the road from our hotel. (Get this, they paid the city of Chicago 250 million to film there, HOLY COW!!) and Josh Duhamel was at the White Sox Game. Vince Vaughn sky dove out of the plance at the air and water show and we got to go to two main places they filmed The Dark Night. (the place they robbed the bank and the street they had the motorcycle accident on) I also found out that Oprah's Harpo Studio is haunted!. Talk about feeling like I was in Hollywood!

Here are some pictures.... ENJOY!!!
Oh, and by the way if you are curious about Chicago's weather, it was SOOOOO hot and the humidity made it killer!!. They said it was the hottest summer they have had in a long time.
