30 Weeks!

I know it has only been a few weeks, but it seems like forever since I did our last post. Life has been going pretty darn good for us lately. Marc got sick a few weeks ago, then I was right behind him, but with a lot of rest and medication we got over it quick enough. Marc is doing great in school and just studying away for his boards. He has been taking extra study guide classes to review for boards and they typically fall on Saturdays and Sundays. We recently got called to be "Sunbeam" teachers in Primary. We are 3 weeks in and I am not exactly sure how I feel about the calling yet. Most of the kiddos are sweet as can be, but I think with this age range we really are just babysitters with a glorified name. Part of me is counting down the weeks till this baby comes to get released and the other part feels like it is preparing me for motherhood so I need to learn as much as I can in the short time I have.
Well, we have hit another milestone in our pregnancy. 30 Weeks!. It seems like it is so close, but so far at times too. I am getting to anxious to meet our sweet little baby girl. At the same time I am terrified to have her. At my doctor appointment on Friday they gave me paperwork to get pre-registered at the hospital and were discussing signs of labor that I need to watch out for. I did NOT see that coming!. It really put everything in prospective for me. They also brought up finishing our labor classes multiple times. That is something Marc and I really need to get cracking on since we chose to do the cheaper online course we haven't had a time pressure till now. Oh, and here is another real shocker they dropped on me last minute at my appointment. IV's!. I have been mentally preparing myself (or at least trying to) for the epidural coming my way and even that is optional... I did not know IV's were mandatory!. In the hands none the less. Still trying to wrap my head around that...
Well that is about it for us, at least for now. Over the next month we have a lot to look forward to. Mid Terms, Taxes, Baby Showers, Visitors & Cleaning out the nursery!. Not to mention 4 sundays with the little munchkin's. Wish us luck!!!

Pregnancy with a Chiropractor!.

Marc started quarter SIX today, so I just basically kissed my husband goodbye for the next 3 months. (so dramatic, I know) Usually starting a new quarter isn't a farewell, but he has national boards this quarter also so his already crazy study load just doubled. Marc has always been great at balancing school vs family so I am sure it won't be as big of a shocker as I am expecting, but it will be hard to adjust after having him to myself for 3.5 weeks. Here are some pictures from our awesome trip to San Diego!. (no specific order)

I like to think I have done some serious research/reading on what it's like to be pregnant and I knew in the 3rd trimester I would be pretty uncomfortable, but I had NO idea just how uncomfortable or how soon it would happen. Sometimes I wonder how other pregnant women made it through their last few months without a husband to come home and pop them back into place every other night. If it were not for Marc I think I would just be a ball on the ground in tears. I am so thankful that he has put in so much time and effort on the side to learn how to adjust because it makes the world of difference for me (even though I am sure he is sick of me complaining about being in pain) He is getting incredibly good at getting at adjusting. There is no doubt in my mind he will be the best, busiest chiropractor in San Diego. (27th week of prego)

Last, but for sure not least... My wonderful sister in law Sarah was sweet enough to surprise me with a little baby shower when we went to visit them in LA. She had this cute cake and all these presents. I didn't even see it coming, but it was amazing. We had a great day being able to visit with them. Here are some pictures from that part of our San Diego trip!. (no specific order)
