Back To Work...

Well, yesterday I went back to work. I have to admit however that I was surprised how well it went. I was expecting disaster, but I started early and Sadie slept through most the day. Being able to chat while she was awake was FaBuLoUs because I wasn't worried about customers hearing her, I just wish it could be like that everyday. Today is a whole new battle.. Phones all day!. I know what you're thinking, it makes me cringe too!!. The thought of her starting to cry while I am on a call makes me feel like I am going to hyperventilate!. The morning started out well, but then our swing died. RIP Baby Blue!. It's going to be a LONG day without Sadie's "go to" toy & I have no idea how our family is going to go on without it. I told Marc last night that I felt like today was going to be the perfect storm & boy was I right! I hate being right all the time... :) haha! Wish me luck getting through the rest of this work day!

P.S. Can I just say how TIRED I am. Working full time now and battling a new born!.. I know it's pathetic because it's only been 1 day, but if I get a wish it's for the weekend to come faster!

Kauai, Hawaii

This past week we went to Kawaii Hawaii on a family vacation. Sadie bug did AmAzInG on her first plane ride and even got to sit in First Class with Grandpa Grow!. While we were there we did lots of stuff like play at the pool, beach, paddle boarding, zip lining, rope swinging, kayaking (SO hard), hiking, saw the Na Pali coast, helicopter ride, yummy food, birthdays, scuba diving, snorkeling and a lot of relaxing!. It was such a great trip. Grandma & Grandpa Grow took Sadie a few nights so Marc and I got some solid sleep which was really nice!. Marc saw a barracuda while he was snorkeling and lots of turtles while scuba diving. We also saw 2 turtles at our beach. I got FRIED while laying at the pool, I guess that's what you get if you don't get in the sun for a year!. Marc said paddle boarding humbled him, but it was a great work out. I am bummed I wasn't able to go scuba diving, but the doctor said it was too soon after all my surgeries. The zip line tour was SO much fun. We went through a lot of places they filmed movies like Pirates of the Caribbean 4, 6 days and 7 nights, Jurassic Park, King Kong, Raiders of The Lost Ark... I could go on and on!. I was scared to death to jump off the first zip line, but was so glad I did, it was unreal souring through the tree tops like that. The 2nd one was even funner because I got to go side by side with Marc. Grandma Grow had her 60th Birthday while we were there!. So as you can tell the trip was amazing, the trip home however was a different story!. Our plane got delayed 5 hours and trying to find a different flight was a nightmare and we didn't get one anyways. Luckily for us (not for them) G&G's flight was delayed as well so we had someone to play games with in the airport. We finally took off at 2am and Sadie slept the whole flight, thank goodness! We were SO tired by then. When fed her on the decent so her ears would pop and as soon as the plane landed & the seat belt sign went off she puked everywhere!. As I was frantically going to clean that up, boom... Blow Out!. Poop all down my leg. Gotta love that!. Anyways, we made it home safe and have lots of great memories of Sadie's first vacation!.
